New virus and new normals

     

    Coronavirus is part of our lives now. However, there is much talk about its impact. Still, we should believe the virus eventually takes root, our regular routines will change dramatically, and our expectations will become more diverse. So we have no choice but to adapt to the challenges of Corona as we become accustomed to masks and alcohol sprays.
    In the business dimension, we also saw that those who could survive independently were too early to adjust and adapt to the new situation in the early months.
    So whether we accept it or not, Corona has opened the door to us that has challenged our adaptability; The challenge that the great trading giants of the world continue to face.
    For example, at the Post Expo 2020 held at Octiran Plus, the Canadian Post announced that the volume of their orders in recent months had reached a level that they expected to get in 2029.
    This statistics means that you have to define the infrastructure in just a few months or change your work system that takes several years. They believe that this order growth is sustainable, and they are still adapting to these conditions.
    We (as an Iranian courier service) are no exception to this rule.
    New normals have created unique needs that we are planning to address.
    The volume of e-commerce has increased, and the work of courier services has increased too.
    So we need to transform our business model to another, define new technologies for our customers, and adapt all parts of the organization to this transformation so that the customer has a better experience.
    I believe that a new revolution is on the way.
